Happy Friday the 13th!

In honor of Friday the 13th and to give a boost to a thriving Kickstarter pre-order campaign, ComixTribe publisher Tyler James has a special bonus offer for backer:If the Oxymoron Volume I hardcover is 100% funded by midnight on this Friday the 13th, 2012, all backers pledging $20 or more will receive the above Oxymoron bonus mini-print!  The commemorative mini-print was drawn by OXYMORON contributing artist  Daniel J Logan.On Monday, ComixTribe  launched via Kickstarter a pre-order campaign for  OXYMORON Volume 1,  a hardcover graphic novel collection of stories about a contradiction-obsessed supervillain.  Since launch, the campaign has raised more than $5,200, or 61% of its $8,500 goal.

“I’m thrilled with how great the campaign has gone so far,” said James.  “We were 30% funded on day one, and have a shot at hitting our goal in the first week.  And once we do, then I can turn my focus into making the book even better.”

The Oxymoron, a character from ComixTribe’s maxi-series  THE RED TEN  by Tyler James and Cesar Feliciano, is being resurrected in this  new spin-off anthology, featuring ten stories by hot up-and-coming writers and artists, including  Jason Ciaramella  (The Cape,  Godzilla),  Mark Poulton  (Savage Hawkman,  Avengelyne),  Joe Mulvey  (SCAM) and more, and is edited by James.
ComixTribe  has made one of the stories in the collection, “Living Dead” by  Mark Bertolini  (Breakneck, Fubar II) and  Carl Yonder  (Ghost Lines, Fubar II),  available in its entirety as a FREE PDF download.
