An EPIC Kickstarter Launching in One Week!
Miami’s newest superhero has a problem…his only weakness is pretty girls. Literally.
On September 23, ComixTribe will be launching a new Kickstarter campaign for EPIC, a superteen action comedy. EPIC is the creation of writer Tyler James (The Red Ten) and artist Matt Zolman. We are thrilled to finally get this book out to the public. While production of the book is complete, the Kickstarter will help us raise funds necessary to do a premium offset print run of the book, and get it to the readers who want it most.
Here’s the EPIC pitch:
After a freak experiment gives teenager Eric Ardor incredible powers, he does what you would do…he puts on a costume and becomes EPIC! Super strength, speed, flight, optic blasts it’s a fanboys dream come true. Unfortunately, he’s just discovered he has one weakness…pretty girls! While most boys his age lose their cool around the hotties, EPIC loses his powers! Living in Miami, home to the zaniest super-villains AND the most bikinis per capita in America, it’s gonna be a problem
Sounds like fun, right? A superhero whose kryptonite is the ladies…Maybe a few of you can relate!
