ComixTribe to Publish Acclaimed Horror Series AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE
This week, ComixTribe announced it will be publishing AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE, a 5-issue horror mystery series by John Lees (The Standard) and Iain Laurie (Horror Mountain.) ComixTribe has released a teaser trailer for EMILY along with the announcement.
AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE tells the story of a haunted former police detective who goes in search of a missing girl, and finds Hell instead. The first issue will make its direct market debut later this summer, with subsequent issues releasing monthly, a first for ComixTribe.
“We’re obviously already all in on John Lees,” said ComixTribe publisher Tyler James. “John’s work on THE STANDARD and the upcoming OXYMORON: Loveliest Nightmare series has been tremendous. But, I really think EMILY is going to be his calling card. Likewise, Iain Laurie’s unique artistic vision complements John’s creepy script like a fine wine…at least, I think its wine. It’s red.”

Short-run, black and white versions of AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE have sold out on the UK comic convention circuit, and earned Lees and Laurie tremendous critical acclaim from big name talent.
