I’m both ecstatic and extremely puzzled that Marvel has announced a sequel to this movie already. I mean, it has only hit theaters today, but the sequel was announced at SDCC 2014.

I want this movie to do well. I want it to do very well. At least as well as the worst Marvel Cinematic Universe film (which was still successful). I do.

But I’m still puzzled that it’s garnered a sequel already. Methinks that’s putting the cart before the horse a little bit.

I have to work this weekend, so I’ll probably end up seeing it on Monday night–if Lenora wants to go. I don’t know if she has much interest in it, since Iron Man isn’t going to be there. (She loves her some RDJ as Stark.)

Monday! That’s what I’m shooting for.
