Taking It Slow

Sometimes, it’s the hardest thing in the world. You’ve got a new idea, and you just want to get it out there! Put it into production immediately, and damn the naysayers!

More often than not (really, most of the time), this is not the way to go.

You want to take it slowly. See if the idea not only has legs, but if it has appeal aside from yourself. Give it a few days, maybe even a few weeks, to see if you’re still interested in the idea after the initial rush. See if you still have the same passion for it.

Taking it slow will allow you to see the burgeoning project for what it is: a flash in the pan, or something worthy of your time and attention.
